Pff Round 2 Mock Draft

PFF's mock draft simulator allows you to be the GM for any team in the 2024 NFL Draft

The 2024 NFL Draft is fast approaching

In just over 24 hours, the Chicago Bears will officially be put on the clock and Caleb Williams will very likely be the first overall pick. Thirty-two PFF analysts came together for a full seven-round 2024 NFL Mock Draft starting with Caleb Williams to the Chicago Bears. Teams are listed by their first pick.

It's time for a first look at which prospects could go where on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL draft

There were five trades in Round 1 but only one involving a pick within the top 100. The New York Jets traded up from No. 13 to No. 10 to select Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord. The Jets gave up their second-round pick (No. 40) and their third-round pick (No. 72) to move up three spots.

The rest of the first round went largely according to expectations, with the top 10 picks all being players who were ranked in the top 10 of PFF's pre-draft rankings. The only surprise was the Jacksonville Jaguars selecting Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson at No. 11. Richardson was ranked No. 13 on PFF's board, but he has been rising up draft boards in recent weeks thanks to his impressive physical tools.

The second round of the draft is where things start to get interesting. There are a number of talented players who could be available when the Bears are on the clock at No. 33. Some of the players who could be in play for the Bears include:

  • Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois
  • Julius Brents, CB, Kansas State
  • Will Levis, QB, Kentucky
  • Blake Freeland, OT, BYU
  • Nolan Smith, OLB, Georgia

The Bears have a number of needs that they could address with their second-round pick. They need help at cornerback, quarterback, offensive tackle, and outside linebacker. Witherspoon and Brents are two of the best cornerbacks in the draft, and they would be a welcome addition to the Bears' secondary. Levis is a talented quarterback who could be a long-term solution for the Bears. Freeland is a big, physical offensive tackle who could help protect Justin Fields. Smith is a versatile outside linebacker who could be a disruptive force for the Bears' defense.

The 2024 NFL Draft is shaping up to be a very exciting one. There are a number of talented players who could be available, and the Bears are in a good position to add some much-needed talent to their roster.
