Rafael Nadal reaches record 14th French Open final

Rafael Nadal reached the final of Roland-Garros for a record 14th time after third seed Alexander Zverev suffered an injury during the match. The 22-time Grand Slam champion was leading the semi-final 7-6 (10-8), 6-6 when Zverev twisted his ankle in the 12th game of the second set and was unable to continue.

Nadal will now face Casper Ruud in the final on Sunday. The Norwegian is the first Norwegian to reach the final of a Grand Slam. Nadal is the heavy favorite to win his 14th French Open title and extend his record as the most successful player in the history of the tournament.
