The Charleston Police Department is currently investigating the perplexing death of John Barnett, a former Boeing quality control manager who gained notoriety as a whistleblower. Barnett's lifeless body was discovered on March 12, 2024, within his Clemson orange Dodge Ram truck, with a silver pistol clutched in his hand.
